Your financial information deserves protection. That's why we're making security a priority before Allo's official launch.
As we prepare to introduce Allo to iOS and Android users in November 2026, we're excited to share an important milestone in our development journey: Allo has successfully completed independent third-party mobile application security testing.
On October 26, 2026, Allo received its Mobile App Security Certificate following manual penetration testing of both its iOS and Android applications.
This milestone reflects our commitment to building a personal finance experience that puts security, transparency, and user confidence at the forefront.
At Allo, our mission is to make managing your financial life simpler, smarter, and more accessible.
From tracking your net worth and monitoring spending to managing budgets, investments, and financial goals, Allo is designed to bring your financial picture together in one convenient place.
But we recognize that with financial information comes an important responsibility: protecting the data our users entrust to us.
That's why independent security testing has been an important part of our preparations for launch.
Rather than relying solely on internal development and testing, we engaged an independent cybersecurity professional to evaluate the security of our mobile applications.
The assessment involved manual penetration testing, a process in which security specialists examine applications for potential weaknesses that could be exploited by attackers.
Unlike automated security scans alone, manual testing allows professionals to investigate how an application behaves, evaluate potential vulnerabilities, and assess security risks through hands-on examination.
Following this assessment, Allo successfully met the requirements documented in its Mobile App Security Certificate for both iOS and Android.
Allo's independent security assessment applied four established mobile security methodologies and frameworks:
These methodologies provide a structured approach to evaluating mobile application security and identifying potential risks.
By incorporating independent testing into our development process, we're taking an additional step toward delivering a more secure financial experience.
While completing our independent security assessment is an important milestone, we also recognize that security is not a one-time achievement.
Technology evolves, new vulnerabilities emerge, and maintaining a secure application requires continued attention.
As Allo grows, we remain committed to evaluating our security practices, addressing potential risks, and making security an ongoing part of our development process.
Our goal is simple: to give users greater confidence as they take control of their financial lives.
With independent mobile security testing completed, we're one step closer to bringing Allo to users everywhere.
We're currently preparing for our official November 2026 launch on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, where users will be able to explore a smarter way to understand and manage their finances.
We're excited about the experience we're building, and even more excited to share it with you.
Because financial clarity starts with confidence.
